Job Description

Engineering Manager, Advanced Signals (SWE)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Engineering Manager, Advanced Signals (SWE) in United States.

This is a high-impact engineering leadership role focused on building and scaling the systems that power advanced advertising signals across a large, data-driven platform. You will lead a team responsible for designing APIs, integrations, and tooling that enable both inbound signal collection and outbound measurement products used by advertisers and partners. The role sits at the intersection of engineering, product, and data science, with direct influence on how conversion data and off-platform signals drive advertising performance. You will define technical strategy, guide execution, and ensure reliable delivery of mission-critical systems. In addition, you will partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to improve developer experiences and expand adoption of key measurement capabilities. This position is ideal for a leader who thrives in fast-paced environments where technical depth and strategic thinking directly impact revenue and advertiser outcomes.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead and grow an engineering team responsible for building APIs, integrations, and data systems that power advanced advertising signals
  • Define and drive the technical roadmap for inbound signal collection and outbound measurement/reporting capabilities
  • Oversee execution of complex initiatives, ensuring predictable delivery, high system quality, and alignment with product priorities
  • Champion the adoption of conversion APIs and signal integrations by improving developer experience and integration reliability
  • Collaborate with Product, Data Science, Sales, Solutions, and Business Engineering to improve advertiser performance and business outcomes
  • Establish engineering best practices, improve system quality, and ensure SLAs and product requirements are consistently met
  • Mentor engineers and technical leads, supporting career development, leadership growth, and team capability building
  • Serve as a strategic partner to leadership, influencing prioritization and aligning engineering efforts with broader business goals
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience managing engineering teams and 5+ years of experience as a software engineer
  • Strong background in Ads or measurement systems, ideally involving conversion signals, attribution, or marketing data integrations
  • Experience working with APIs, data pipelines, and integration-heavy systems in production environments
  • Proven ability to collaborate with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver new technical products
  • Strong strategic thinking skills with the ability to define and communicate clear technical direction
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience translating complex systems for both technical and business audiences
  • Impact-driven mindset focused on scalable, reliable, and business-aligned engineering solutions
  • Experience with mobile measurement partners, signal integrations, or advertising ecosystem tooling is a strong plus
Benefits:
  • Fully remote work option with flexibility across the United States
  • Competitive compensation package including base salary ($217,000–$303,900 USD), equity, and potential commission eligibility
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Generous 401(k) plan with employer matching
  • Flexible vacation policy supporting work-life balance
  • Paid parental leave (4+ months) and family planning support
  • Home office stipend and workplace setup support
  • Paid volunteer time off
  • Equity opportunities and long-term incentive programs for eligible employees.
