This role sits at the intersection of platform engineering, cloud architecture, and AI-enabled software development, focused on building scalable systems that power enterprise-grade contract lifecycle management solutions. You will design and evolve cloud-native, serverless infrastructure that supports complex, data-driven applications used by global organizations. Working within a highly collaborative engineering environment, you will partner with product managers, designers, and AI specialists to shape intelligent workflows and modern platform capabilities. The position offers significant ownership across architecture, developer tooling, and system reliability in a fast-growing SaaS organization. You will also contribute to improving CI/CD, observability, and infrastructure-as-code practices while enabling AI-driven development workflows. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where innovation, scalability, and user impact are central to daily work.

Accountabilities

Own the design, development, and maintenance of scalable cloud-native applications and platform services supporting enterprise software products, ensuring high performance, reliability, and extensibility.

  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and AI engineers to design and implement solutions that improve end-to-end user and developer experience
  • Develop and optimize infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, and observability frameworks to improve system stability and deployment efficiency
  • Lead architectural decisions and contribute to technical direction across distributed systems, ensuring scalability and maintainability
  • Improve internal engineering productivity through better tooling, workflows, and automation practices
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex cross-stack production issues, participating in incident response and reliability improvements
  • Mentor engineers and contribute to engineering best practices, code quality standards, and system design principles
  • Leverage AI-assisted tools to accelerate development, testing, and operational efficiency across the SDLC
Requirements

Experienced platform engineer with a strong background in cloud-native architecture, backend systems, and scalable distributed applications, combined with hands-on software development expertise.

  • 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong proficiency in Python and backend development
  • Deep experience building serverless, cloud-native systems using AWS services such as Lambda, API Gateway, and DynamoDB or equivalents
  • Strong understanding of distributed systems, API design, and enterprise-scale software architecture
  • Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps tooling (e.g., CloudFormation, GitHub Actions, Docker, ECS)
  • Strong knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and SQL (PostgreSQL preferred)
  • Experience with observability, monitoring, and production system reliability practices
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and integrating LLM-based capabilities into engineering workflows is a plus
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills with a strong product mindset
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience preferred
