This role is a high-impact opportunity for a Salesforce expert to lead end-to-end implementations that help mission-driven organizations transform how they manage fundraising, engagement, and constituent relationships. You will guide clients through complex digital transformation initiatives, translating business needs into scalable Salesforce-based solutions across multiple clouds and integrated platforms. Working in a collaborative consulting environment, you will act as both a solution architect and trusted advisor, ensuring successful delivery from discovery through go-live. The position combines hands-on configuration, strategic solution design, and client-facing leadership. You will work closely with technical teams, data specialists, and stakeholders across industries such as education and nonprofit. This is a fast-paced, client-centered role where your expertise directly shapes system adoption and long-term customer success.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will lead Salesforce implementation projects from discovery through deployment, ensuring high-quality solutions aligned with client needs and organizational goals.

  • Lead discovery sessions and define solution scope, translating business requirements into detailed system designs and implementation roadmaps
  • Configure and implement Salesforce solutions, including Education Cloud and related platforms, with advanced customization and automation (e.g., Flows, security models, custom metadata)
  • Guide clients through planning, build, testing, and deployment phases while ensuring successful sprint execution and delivery outcomes
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to stakeholders, providing best practices, technical guidance, and solution recommendations
  • Collaborate with data teams to support migration, integration, and data quality initiatives across systems
  • Lead integration efforts across Salesforce ecosystems and third-party tools (e.g., Marketing Cloud, Experience Cloud, Conga, Formstack, Blackthorn)
  • Support documentation of system architecture, process flows, and technical specifications to ensure clarity and maintainability
  • Contribute to business development efforts including proposals, solution design, and client expansion opportunities
Requirements

The ideal candidate is a seasoned Salesforce consultant with strong technical expertise, consulting experience, and the ability to lead complex implementations in collaborative environments.

  • 6+ years of experience in CRM consulting, Salesforce implementation, or related technology delivery roles
  • Strong expertise in Salesforce core clouds (Sales, Service, Experience) with advanced configuration and automation skills
  • Hands-on experience delivering full lifecycle Salesforce implementations using agile methodologies
  • Ability to design system architecture, write user stories, define requirements, and document business processes clearly
  • Experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using APIs, ETL tools, or platforms such as MuleSoft or Jitterbit
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, system architecture, and release/deployment best practices
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and client-facing consulting skills
  • Bonus: experience in education, nonprofit, or fundraising environments and familiarity with Education Cloud or similar solutions
  • Salesforce certifications (Admin and advanced certifications) strongly preferred
Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary range: $130,000 – $140,000 USD
  • Annual discretionary bonus eligibility
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance from day one
  • HSA and FSA options for healthcare and dependent needs
  • 11 paid federal holidays plus flexible unlimited time off (UTO)
  • 401(k) plan with generous employer matching and immediate vesting
  • Flexible career paths with opportunities for advancement and mobility
  • Remote-friendly work environment with collaborative team culture
  • Employee assistance programs, mental health support, and wellness resources
  • Inclusive workplace culture focused on growth, learning, and belonging.
