Job Description
- JOB SUMMARY:
The Project Coordinator assists Project Managers (PM) and Technical Support Managers (TSM) in the planning and coordination of projects, takes on administrative duties, and independently manage some project elements. He/She ensures cost, schedule, document control and quality standards are met.
- DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following represents a list of essential duties and responsibilities.
Other duties may be assigned, tasks list are intended to be descriptive and not restrictive:
- Communicating with stakeholders regarding project needs and goals.
- Contributing to the planning and development of projects.
- Supporting the coordination and management of projects.
- Support all project handover meetings by taking minutes and distributing to the stakeholders.
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, updating company ERP systems, prepare purchase orders for equipment
- Track all PO’s and end ensure order confirmation and follow up with suppliers who have yet to confirm receipt.
- Keeping track of and reporting on project progress e.g., outstanding submittal information from vendors, approvals from engineer/contractor, OC dates for vendors, proof of delivery for components etc.
- Communicate project schedule with all stakeholders and monitor project progress for critical path items
- Completing any tasks assigned by the PM or TSM in an efficient and timely manner
- Provide regular project status reports to Director of Project Management and Accounting
- Compile technical submittal, test reports, engineering drawings and O&M information
- REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Associate Business Degree/Technical Degree
2-4 years’ experience in the field of construction, wastewater engineering or related field.
Huber equipment knowledge a plus
- SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES:
- Familiarity with ERP and project management software tools
- Experience in working with multiple discipline projects
- Excellent computer skills in all Microsoft Office Suite applications and Adobe Acrobat
- Fluent spoken and written English required - German or Spanish ability a plus
- Strong written and oral communication skills required

- While performing duties of this job, would occasionally be required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop or kneel, talk and hear, and use fingers and hands to feel objects, tools or controls. Sitting will be for extended periods of time.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perceptions and ability to adjust focus.
- Project Coordinator should be capable of working under pressure to meet project deadlines.
- Regular attendance is essential to meet the project deadlines and provide consistent customer service to the customer, RSD’s, team and Reps.
- Overtime may be necessary as workload dictates. This may include weekdays or weekends.
- Job will generally be performed in an office environment but may require travel to and from a client’s office, production facility, tradeshow, industrial/construction job site or wastewater treatment plant. Conditions will vary at each location, but the conditions listed above will generally apply. Would need to be able to meet and follow all safety guidelines in the office as well as on job sites.
- WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position is primarily located in an office setting. There may be times that the Project Coordinator is required to visit WWTP sites, or warehouse locations, tradeshows, pilots and exposed to weather conditions if outside, dust and should wear all PPE that is required by the jobsite as well as keep recommended inoculations current.
