Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Product Engineer (Mobile) in Ireland.
This is a high-impact opportunity for a mobile-focused Product Engineer to help shape a leading AI-powered employee experience platform used by frontline workers across industries such as retail, manufacturing, and logistics. You will play a key role in building intuitive, high-performance mobile experiences that directly improve how employees access and interact with essential tools in their daily work. The role centers on Flutter development, with strong ownership of user experience, performance, and product quality across the mobile application. You will work in a fast-moving, agile environment where product thinking, experimentation, and continuous improvement are deeply embedded in the engineering culture. Beyond mobile, you will have opportunities to contribute across backend and web systems, supported by modern AI-driven development workflows. This is an ideal role for an engineer who enjoys end-to-end ownership, close collaboration with product teams, and building meaningful user-centric technology at scale.
- Design, develop, and ship end-to-end mobile features within a Flutter-based application, ensuring high-quality user experiences and measurable product impact.
- Take ownership of core mobile domains, including UI/UX implementation, interaction design, performance optimization, and accessibility standards.
- Work cross-functionally across mobile, backend, and web systems when needed, contributing to full-stack feature delivery.
- Build software following modern engineering practices, including API-first design, code reviews, automated testing, and structured release workflows.
- Instrument and analyze product features to understand real user behavior and iterate based on data-driven insights.
- Participate in agile development cycles, collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and engineers to refine requirements and deliver value incrementally.
- Own features end-to-end, from technical design and implementation to rollout, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools to enhance productivity and support end-to-end solution ownership.
- Contribute to technical discussions within engineering guilds, ensuring alignment across teams and system components.
- Support experimentation and prototyping efforts to validate product ideas and improve user outcomes.
- Proven experience in mobile development with strong hands-on expertise in Flutter and Dart.
- Solid understanding of widget architecture, state management, and mobile performance optimization.
- Experience working in agile SaaS product environments with a focus on iterative delivery.
- Cross-stack mindset with willingness to contribute to backend or web development when needed.
- Familiarity or openness to AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, or GitHub Copilot.
- Strong product thinking, with a focus on user impact rather than task completion.
- Experience ensuring app quality through testing, code reviews, and modern engineering practices.
- Nice to have: experience with modular Flutter architectures, dependency injection, and feature-based design.
- Nice to have: familiarity with App Store and Google Play release processes.
- Nice to have: knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Mixpanel) and error monitoring systems (e.g., Sentry).
- Nice to have: experience with mobile E2E or integration testing frameworks (e.g., Patrol).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
- Motivation to work in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with evolving product needs.
- Fully remote-first setup with flexibility to work from anywhere in Europe.
- Opportunity to work on a fast-growing AI-powered platform transforming frontline employee experiences.
- Strong focus on work-life balance, including support for Wellpass gym membership and job bike leasing.
- Regular in-person team events, workshops, and culture days in Berlin or Stuttgart.
- Flexible work-from-abroad policy within the European Union.
- Collaborative, high-energy culture with strong emphasis on ownership and impact.
- Opportunity to shape product direction in a rapidly scaling tech environment.
- Inclusive workplace culture that values diversity and individual authenticity.
- Regular team events and opportunities to connect with a highly engaged engineering community.
