Legal Contracts Manager

This role sits at the intersection of legal operations, contract lifecycle management, and cross-functional business support within a fast-paced healthcare environment. You will be responsible for managing the drafting, review, tracking, and execution of a wide range of legal agreements while ensuring compliance with internal policies and legal standards. The position plays a key role in enabling smooth and efficient contracting processes across departments, helping reduce risk while improving operational speed and consistency. You will collaborate closely with sales, legal counsel, and other internal stakeholders to resolve contract-related issues and ensure timely execution of agreements. This is a detail-oriented and highly organized role where accuracy, communication, and confidentiality are essential. You will also contribute to process improvements that strengthen legal operations and support business growth.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage the full contract lifecycle, including drafting, reviewing, editing, tracking, and execution of legal agreements in alignment with company policies.
  • Prepare and revise legal contracts and supporting documentation under the supervision of senior legal leadership.
  • Maintain and update contract templates to ensure consistency with legal standards and internal guidelines.
  • Track contract status, deadlines, and obligations, ensuring timely completion and proper documentation within contract management systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales and operations, to resolve contract-related issues and support business needs.
  • Review contracts and prepare executive summaries highlighting key legal terms for internal stakeholders.
  • Conduct legal and regulatory research to support contract development and compliance requirements.
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives within the legal department to enhance efficiency and service quality.
  • Maintain organized contract databases and ensure secure handling of sensitive and confidential information.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies or a related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or Legal Contracts Manager.
  • Strong experience in contract drafting, reviewing, redlining, and contract lifecycle management.
  • Prior in-house legal department experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience in healthcare law or regulated industries is an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of contract management systems, legal documentation, and compliance processes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office tools, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Some travel (approximately 10%) may be required to support subsidiary locations.
