Job Description
We are seeking dependable and friendly individuals to serve as Part-time Gate Workers for home athletic events. Responsibilities include welcoming spectators, collecting admission, assisting with ticket sales and entry procedures, and providing excellent customer service. Candidates should be reliable, personable, and comfortable working evening and weekend events.
The Part-time Gate Worker is a position requiring a calling to use God-given talents to further the Kingdom of God. The Part-time Gate Worker is expected to be a minister to the OCS community through actions, speech, attitude, and prayer, as they point students to Christ.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests and provide excellent customer service.
- Collect admission and/or sell tickets.
- Assist with crowd flow and event entry.
- Maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Represent the athletic department in a professional manner.
Requirements:
- Dependable and punctual.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Availability to work evenings and weekends.
