The Senior Director, Decision Analytics will oversee the strategy, execution, and evolution of a centralized analytics and data science organization. This role will establish best practices, develop high-performing teams, and serve as a strategic partner to executive stakeholders by turning complex data into actionable business decisions.
- Lead and manage a centralized Decision Analytics function supporting multiple business areas, including marketing, revenue, product, and finance.
- Define the vision, operating model, priorities, and success metrics for the analytics and data science organization.
- Drive the evolution from reactive reporting toward proactive, predictive, and insight-driven decision-making.
- Partner with senior leaders across the organization to identify business challenges and deliver high-impact analytical solutions.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders while ensuring analytics resources are aligned with the highest-value opportunities.
- Lead and develop a team of managers, analysts, and data scientists by fostering curiosity, collaboration, and technical excellence.
- Provide hands-on leadership by supporting complex analyses, modeling challenges, and strategic problem-solving when needed.
- Partner with data engineering and enablement teams to ensure analytical solutions are supported by scalable, reliable data foundations.
- Champion AI adoption, automation, and innovative approaches that enhance analytics capabilities and efficiency.
- Lead change management initiatives as the organization transitions toward a more mature centralized analytics model.

The ideal candidate is an experienced analytics leader with strong business judgment, technical depth, and a proven ability to build and scale high-performing teams. This role requires someone who can translate sophisticated data concepts into clear strategies while partnering effectively with executive stakeholders.
- 12+ years of experience in analytics, data science, business intelligence, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience leading analytics or data science teams within a SaaS, subscription-based, or technology-driven organization.
- Proven experience hiring, mentoring, and developing teams of managers, analysts, and data scientists.
- Demonstrated success scaling centralized or hybrid analytics functions supporting multiple business units.
- Strong understanding of SaaS business metrics, including ARR growth, retention metrics, customer acquisition efficiency, lifetime value, and product engagement.
- Ability to operate strategically while maintaining enough technical depth to engage with complex analytical challenges.
- Experience leading organizational change, analytics transformations, or operating model improvements preferred.
- Familiarity with modern data ecosystems, including SQL, Python, dbt, cloud data warehouses, and business intelligence platforms.
- Understanding of machine learning concepts, predictive modeling, experimentation, and AI-driven analytics solutions.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence executive decision-making through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
- Competitive annual compensation range:
- Zone 1 (New York, California, Washington): $220,000 – $302,500.
- Zone 2 (All other United States locations): $200,000 – $275,000.
