Position Summary

Support the Collision Center operations by cleaning and detailing customer vehicles once collision center repairs are complete and the vehicle is set to be returned to the customer.

Compensation/Good Faith Pay Range

• Base compensation: $15-$16 per hour, starting

What You'll Do

• Wash and clean vehicle exterior, clean interior and exterior windows, and wipe down doorjambs, etc..
• Apply wax to auto body, and wipe or buff surface.
• Vacuum interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
• Clean upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
• Apply preservation agents to interior vinyl or leather surfaces and treats fabrics with spot- and stain-resistant chemicals.
• Clean engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
• Apply special-purpose cleaners to remove foreign materials which normal cleaning procedures do not remove, utilizing experience and judgment and following product Manufacturer's recommendations.
• Apply dressing on tires and tire wells.
• Replace all traces of any protective films or coverings applied for shipment or service.
• Keep shop area neat and clean.
• Use proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
• Attend all dealership and service department meetings when requested.
• Provide exceptional customer service.

What You’ll Bring

• Positive attitude and strong work ethic
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including strong negotiation and presentation skills
• Previous dealership or automotive sales experience preferred
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and a flexible schedule
• Ability to hold yourself accountable and achieve goals with limited direct supervision
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Maintain a professional appearance and conduct

Working Conditions:

This physically demanding position requires frequent movement; i.e. bending, lifting, reaching, squatting, and getting into and out of various vehicles repeatedly during the work shift.
