About the role
The Field Assistant supports construction and service teams in completing projects efficiently and safely. This role assists with general site tasks, materials handling, and coordination between crews, helping ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards.
What you'll do
· Assist construction or service teams with daily field operations, including site setup, cleanup, and material handling.
· Support trades and technicians by preparing tools, equipment, and materials.
· Assist with loading, hauling, and transporting materials or equipment as needed.
· Follow Supervisor instructions to complete tasks safely and efficiently.
· Maintain clean and organized work areas, including proper storage of materials and equipment.
· Document work completed and report progress or issues to the Supervisor.
· Help address punch-list items, site inspections, and project closeout tasks as needed.
· Adhere to company safety policies and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
· Previous construction, service, or labor experience a plus but not required.
· Basic knowledge of construction tools, equipment, and safety practices.
· Ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team, and communicate effectively.
· Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds, stand for extended periods, climb ladders, and work in varying outdoor conditions.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
