About the Role

We are seeking reliable, safety-focused ADAS Data Collection Drivers to support Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and autonomous driving data collection programs.

This is a seasonal, project-based position lasting up to 12 weeks, requiring extensive travel throughout the United States. Drivers should be prepared for long-distance and cross-country driving, frequent overnight stays, and extended periods away from home while supporting vehicle testing operations.

Drivers will operate test vehicles equipped with data collection systems to capture real-world driving scenarios and environmental conditions. The role requires following detailed test procedures, documenting observations, and safely performing assigned driving activities in support of automotive technology development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive test vehicles across the United States, including long-distance and cross-country routes.
  • Follow detailed driving scripts, test plans, and project instructions.
  • Safely perform specific driving scenarios as directed by the test team.
  • Collect high-quality vehicle and environmental data during testing activities.
  • Identify and tag relevant driving scenarios and events according to established guidelines.
  • Accurately document test activities, observations, and issues.
  • Maintain spreadsheets, logs, and other required documentation.
  • Perform basic operational checks of data collection equipment before and during drives.
  • Communicate clearly with project managers, engineers, and test teams regarding vehicle, equipment, route, or data concerns.
  • Follow all company safety procedures and applicable traffic laws.
  • Maintain professionalism while working in varying locations and conditions.
  • Support testing activities as either a driver or passenger, depending on project requirements.
  • Adapt to changing routes, weather conditions, traffic patterns, and schedules.

Schedule & Travel Requirements

  • Seasonal assignment lasting up to 12 consecutive weeks.
  • Monday through Saturday work schedule.
  • Extensive travel throughout the United States.
  • Frequent overnight stays and extended periods away from home.
  • Cross-country driving assignments is required.
  • Work schedules and travel routes may vary based on project requirements and testing locations.
Requirements:

Required Qualifications

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Strong driving skills and excellent situational awareness.
  • Comfortable driving long distances and navigating unfamiliar areas.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and standardized testing procedures.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience using spreadsheets.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately record information.
  • Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to remain focused during extended driving periods.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and work a six-day schedule.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a test driver, ADAS driver, autonomous vehicle operator, fleet driver, or data collection driver.
  • Experience with vehicle testing or automotive technology.
  • Familiarity with ADAS features such as:
  • Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
  • Lane Keeping Assist (LKA)
  • Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB)
  • Driver Monitoring Systems (DMS)
  • Experience with data collection, annotation, tagging, or spreadsheet-based reporting.
  • Automotive knowledge or technical background.
