We are currently seeking a Sr. Project or Managing-level Engineer to join our Transportation practice area in our Buffalo, NY office.
Duties primarily include engineering related to highway design and bridge/culvert projects. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Project oversight and delivery, preparation/review of plans and specifications, and client communications and meetings.
- Project coordination with technical quality control and oversight involving most if not all the types of tasks listed below:
- Providing conceptual input on the development of design projects.
- Preparation of design plans, calculations, details and public bidding documents.
- Providing quality control reviews of design.
- Proficient in technical writing.
- Potential for field review of construction progress at construction milestones.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 8-12+ years of highway/bridge and transportation consulting experience in a fast-paced, service-oriented environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Licensed PE is a plus.
