This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Staff Program Manager, Corporate Communications based in United States.
This role leads strategic corporate communications programs focused on executive visibility, media relations, and reputation building across the U.S.
You will shape and execute earned media strategies that bring technology and innovation stories to influential audiences.
The position partners closely with government relations, investor relations, legal, compliance, marketing, and other corporate functions to ensure consistent messaging.
You will advise and support executive spokespeople across media interviews, speaking opportunities, and social media initiatives.
The role also plays an important part in crisis communications, proactively managing risks and protecting organizational reputation.
Success requires strong relationships with technology and business journalists, excellent storytelling skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This is a fully remote opportunity with up to 10% travel.
In this role, you will lead high-impact communications initiatives, manage internal and external stakeholders, and help strengthen visibility and reputation through strategic media engagement.
- Develop and execute media relations strategies that enhance and protect public image and brand reputation.
- Build and maintain relationships with technology and business media outlets, journalists, and relevant influencers.
- Oversee agency partners in developing and distributing messaging toolkits, press releases, tailored media pitches, media kits, and other communications materials.
- Support executive spokespeople with media inquiries, speaking opportunities, social media strategies, and interviews.
- Manage executive communications projects and programs while ensuring alignment across corporate functions.
- Monitor media coverage, report results, and contribute to PR performance KPIs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to maintain consistent messaging across communication channels.
- Lead crisis communications efforts and develop strategies to mitigate potential negative publicity.
- Plan and coordinate media events, press conferences, and other public relations activities.
- Track industry developments and changes in the media landscape to identify opportunities for positive and timely coverage.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate combines extensive corporate communications or public relations experience with strong media relationships, executive communications expertise, and a solid understanding of the technology sector.
- Extensive experience in media relations, corporate communications, or public relations.
- Proven success developing media strategies and securing positive media coverage.
- Experience supporting executive speaking engagements and press interviews.
- Strong knowledge of crisis communications and corporate messaging development.
- Experience in the technology industry or demonstrated technology-sector expertise.
- Established relationships with technology and business journalists, media outlets, and influencers.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work effectively under pressure, and operate in a fast-paced environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

- Estimated base salary: $109,500–$159,500, depending on work location, skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors.
