Job Description
BukuWarung's payment devices, QRIS Soundbox and EDC terminals, are used by merchants across Indonesia. When one comes back from the field faulty, this role gets it working again.
You diagnose returned units at the bench, repair what can be repaired, recover usable parts from what can't, and get working devices back into circulation.
Hands-on work with real ownership. You become the person who knows these devices best.
Initial 3-month contract, with the intent to extend or convert based on how it goes. On-site at our warehouse in Bekasi.
What You'll DoDiagnose faults on returned payment devices: teardown, testing, and a clear verdict on what's wrong.
Carry out component-level repairs: part replacement, soldering and rework, reassembly.
Function-test every unit before it goes back into service.
Recommend whether a unit is repaired, used for parts, or retired.
Recover usable components and keep parts records accurate.
Keep clear records on every unit you handle: serial number, fault, parts used, outcome.
Work to our repair procedures and QC checklist, and flag where they don't match what you find at the bench.
Take part in manufacturer training and apply it at the bench.
Prepare retired units for disposal with the right documentation.
Flag recurring faults so they can be fixed at the source.
1+ years hands-on electronics repair or assembly.
Or a vocational (SMK) electronics, audio-video, or mechatronics graduate who can show real bench skill.You can solder and rework, use a multimeter, and trace a fault on a board.
Comfortable working from a manual, a wiring diagram, or a parts list.
Careful with records. If you replace a part or retire a unit, it gets written down accurately, every time.
Honest about what you don't know. Telling us a unit is beyond your skill is a good answer. Guessing and shipping it is not.
Able to work on-site in Bekasi and start soon.
Bahasa Indonesia. English is not required.
Repair experience with payments hardware, POS or EDC terminals, consumer audio, or mobile devices.
PCB-level troubleshooting beyond component swapping.
Any exposure to QC or inspection work.
