Shovel Operator (Ready-Mix Concrete Industry – UAE)Job Description
We are hiring a skilled Shovel Operator with Ready-Mix industry experience in the UAE to operate wheel loaders/shovels for handling aggregates and raw materials within batching plant operations. The operator will ensure efficient material loading, stockpile management, and safe equipment operation.
The ideal candidate must have experience working in Ready-Mix or concrete production plants and be familiar with plant safety procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Operate wheel loader/shovel safely and efficiently within the batching plant.
- Load aggregates and raw materials into batching plant bins and hoppers.
- Manage aggregate stockpiles and maintain material segregation.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and basic preventive maintenance checks.
- Report equipment defects or maintenance issues promptly.
- Ensure safe movement of materials within the plant premises.
- Follow operational instructions from plant supervisors.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper housekeeping in work areas.
- Adhere to company safety regulations and UAE HSE standards.
- Minimum 2–4 years of UAE Ready-Mix or construction plant experience as a Shovel Operator.
- Valid UAE Heavy Equipment Operator License is preferred.
- Experience operating wheel loaders/shovels in batching plant environments.
- Good understanding of material handling and aggregate management.
- Ability to perform basic equipment inspections and maintenance checks.
- Physically fit and capable of working in outdoor conditions.
- Basic English communication skills.
- Strong awareness of workplace safety procedures.
- UAE/GCC experience is preferred.
