Job Description
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a People & Culture Partner in India.
This role sits at the intersection of talent, culture, and organizational design within a fast-scaling AI-native company operating across India and the US. You will play a key role in shaping how teams are built, supported, and scaled in an environment where AI is redefining traditional ways of working. Acting as the second member of the People function, you will partner closely with leadership to build hiring engines, strengthen employee experience, and evolve people systems from the ground up. The scope spans full-cycle recruitment, HR operations, and culture-building initiatives in a lean, high-trust, high-autonomy environment. You will also contribute to cross-border people operations, including US–India coordination and compliance considerations. This is a highly impactful role for someone who thrives in ambiguity and wants to help define what modern People functions look like in AI-driven organizations.
- Own end-to-end talent acquisition across technical, go-to-market, and professional services roles, building strong pipelines and ensuring a high hiring bar.
- Partner with founders and hiring managers to design and execute effective hiring strategies aligned with rapid company growth.
- Build and improve employer branding initiatives in collaboration with marketing to attract top global talent.
- Design and implement scalable HR processes including onboarding, performance management, and employee engagement using AI-enabled tools.
- Support employee relations, manager coaching, and organizational design conversations across distributed teams.
- Contribute to workforce planning and people strategy in collaboration with leadership, helping define the future structure of a growing AI-native company.
- Help manage operational complexity across US–India employment setups, including EOR-related processes and cross-border coordination.
- 6–9 years of experience across HR, talent acquisition, or people operations, with exposure to both hiring and HR partnering responsibilities.
- Strong experience hiring across multiple functions, including technical and non-technical roles in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with US employment practices and experience supporting globally distributed teams is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI tools or automation to improve HR or recruitment processes in meaningful, practical ways.
- Experience working in ambiguous, fast-growth environments with high autonomy and minimal structure.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and judgment skills, with the ability to earn trust from leadership.
- Exposure to EOR setups and cross-border people operations is a strong plus.
- Competitive compensation package aligned with experience and impact.
- Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.
- Flexible working hours and remote-first setup across India and global teams.
- Monthly internet reimbursement for home office support.
- Opportunity to work closely with senior leadership in a high-growth AI-native company.
- Annual travel support for in-person collaboration and HQ visits when required.
- High autonomy and ownership in shaping the People function from an early stage.
