This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Maintenance Programs - Manager based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of aviation engineering, regulatory compliance, and maintenance program optimization, supporting some of the most complex aircraft operations globally.
You will lead the development, enhancement, and execution of aircraft maintenance programs that ensure safety, efficiency, and regulatory compliance across airline and MRO operations.
The position involves close collaboration with airlines, regulators, and technical teams to shape maintenance strategies aligned with industry standards and operational realities.
You will play a key role in analyzing program effectiveness, improving reliability, and driving data-informed maintenance decisions.
The environment is highly technical, fast-paced, and globally oriented, working with leading aviation stakeholders and complex aircraft systems.
You will also lead projects and teams, ensuring delivery of high-quality maintenance program solutions across multiple client engagements.
This is a high-impact leadership role where your expertise directly influences aircraft safety, performance, and operational efficiency.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop, update, and maintain aircraft maintenance programs, including line and heavy check packages, ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Lead maintenance program optimization efforts, applying MSG-2/MSG-3 methodologies and industry best practices to improve efficiency and reliability.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities to support program approvals and ensure alignment with NAA, FAA, and EASA standards.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis of maintenance program effectiveness using statistical and reliability data to support continuous improvement.
  • Research historical maintenance data and perform technical evaluations to justify program changes and enhancements.
  • Lead or manage project workstreams and provide guidance to team members, ensuring delivery of complex maintenance program initiatives.
  • Collaborate with clients, airlines, and MRO organizations to implement maintenance strategies and support operational decision-making.
  • Travel as required to support client engagements, workshops, and on-site program development activities.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in aviation maintenance, engineering, operations, or maintenance program management within airlines, MROs, or aerospace organizations.
  • Strong expertise in aircraft maintenance program development, including MSG-2/MSG-3 methodologies and Maintenance Planning Documents (MPDs).
  • Deep understanding of aircraft systems, continuing airworthiness, reliability programs, and regulatory frameworks (FAA, EASA, NAA).
  • Experience working with MRBRs and specialized maintenance concepts such as CMRs, EWIS/EZAP, ETOPS/EDTO, ALIs, and aging aircraft programs.
  • Proven ability to lead technical projects and manage or mentor teams in a highly regulated environment.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data interpretation skills with experience using maintenance or reliability systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage confidently with clients, regulators, and cross-functional technical teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with MRO IT systems.
  • Preferred: FAA/EASA AMT certification or formal aeronautical maintenance training.
  • Preferred: Experience in shop floor leadership, production planning, or aviation operations management.
