You will play a key role in delivering reliable power distribution systems while collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams, manufacturing partners, and deployment specialists. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working directly with hardware, and influencing real-world outcomes. In a fast-paced and highly collaborative environment, you will help shape next-generation infrastructure solutions that support large-scale computing and mission-critical operations. Your expertise will directly contribute to the successful delivery of cutting-edge projects on a global scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop and maintain electrical designs for modular infrastructure systems, including single-line diagrams, load calculations, grounding systems, cable sizing, panel schedules, and raceway layouts.
  • Perform protective device coordination, arc flash analysis, and short-circuit studies, generating reports and documentation used throughout deployment and operations.
  • Review and validate vendor submittals for electrical equipment such as UPS systems, battery storage, switchgear, generators, transfer switches, distribution boards, and power distribution units.
  • Support manufacturing partners by resolving technical inquiries, reviewing layouts, addressing design conflicts, and participating in factory testing activities.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, including mechanical, structural, controls, and fire protection specialists, to ensure integrated and efficient system designs.
  • Contribute to regulatory compliance efforts across multiple jurisdictions by coordinating with authorities, consultants, and project stakeholders.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design basis reports, engineering studies, commissioning procedures, and project requirements.
  • Provide field support during commissioning, troubleshooting, and deployment activities, including occasional travel to domestic and international project locations.
  • Identify risks, propose technical improvements, and help drive continuous enhancements in design quality, reliability, and operational performance.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution.
  • 3–7 years of professional experience in electrical design, including at least 2 years working with data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial power systems, or comparable complex power distribution environments.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and familiarity with international electrical standards and codes.
  • Hands-on experience with power system analysis software such as SKM PowerTools, ETAP, EasyPower, or equivalent platforms.
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical, Revit MEP, Bluebeam Revu, or similar engineering and design tools.
  • Solid understanding of UPS systems, power distribution equipment, transformers, generators, transfer switches, and electrical infrastructure integration.
  • Ability to review interdisciplinary drawings and proactively identify coordination issues before manufacturing or construction.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing technical reports, reviews, and engineering documentation.
  • Experience with modular, prefabricated, or containerized infrastructure solutions is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of high-density computing environments, battery energy storage systems, mission-critical facility standards, or controls integration technologies is a plus.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification is advantageous but not required.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
Benefits
  • Competitive base salary with geographic-based compensation structures.
  • Equity participation opportunities.
  • Fully remote work arrangement within the United States.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with subsidized employee costs.

  • Retirement savings plans, including 401(k) and Roth 401(k) options.
  • Unlimited paid time off (PTO).
  • 14 paid company holidays annually.
  • Opportunity to work on highly innovative and industry-leading infrastructure technologies.
