This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Associate Developer, ServiceNow based in Brazil.
This role is focused on building, configuring, and enhancing solutions within the ServiceNow platform while supporting end-to-end delivery across enterprise workflows. You will contribute to the development of ITSM capabilities, automation components, and integrations that support large-scale operational environments. The position works closely with senior developers, architects, and business analysts in a collaborative, Agile-driven setup. You will be involved in translating requirements into functional technical implementations while ensuring alignment with platform standards and best practices. It is a hands-on development role that combines learning, execution, and continuous improvement. You will also support testing, documentation, and release activities to ensure reliable and scalable solutions. The environment is global, structured, and focused on high-quality service delivery.
- Develop and configure ServiceNow components such as Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Catalog Items, Notifications, and Flow Designer workflows based on technical specifications and established standards.
- Support the implementation of integrations using REST and SOAP APIs under senior guidance, ensuring secure and reliable data exchange across systems.
- Participate in requirement analysis sessions, contributing technical insights and supporting the translation of business needs into platform solutions.
- Assist in designing and maintaining data structures, including tables, CMDB elements, and service catalogs, aligned with predefined architecture models.
- Execute unit testing and support integration testing activities, ensuring defect identification, resolution, and documentation of results.
- Collaborate in Agile ceremonies and cross-functional meetings, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and continuous delivery improvements.
- Support documentation, knowledge transfer, and operational readiness activities to ensure smooth handover to support teams.
- 2–4 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow development, configuration, or platform support in enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of ITSM processes and ServiceNow core modules, with ability to apply platform best practices in development activities.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript, JSON, XML, and relational database concepts.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery environments, with ability to follow structured development and review processes.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong willingness to learn and continuously improve technical capabilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with ability to work effectively in global, cross-functional teams.
- Fluency in Portuguese and English is required for daily interaction with international stakeholders.
