Sr. Manager, Enterprise Business Intelligence

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr. Manager, Enterprise Business Intelligence based in the United States.

This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for shaping enterprise-wide Business Intelligence strategy, governance, and delivery across a global organization.
You will lead a global BI team while building capabilities that enable smarter, faster, and more consistent data-driven decisions.
The role combines people leadership, technical expertise, enterprise architecture, analytics governance, and business transformation.
You will modernize reporting ecosystems, expand governed self-service analytics, and establish scalable standards for data quality, security, and KPI management.
Working closely with senior business and technology leaders, you will translate strategic priorities into impactful analytics products and solutions.
The position offers the opportunity to influence commercial, finance, service, marketing, and operational decision-making at enterprise scale.

Accountabilities
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a global, multi-level Business Intelligence organization, fostering talent development, succession planning, collaboration, and delivery excellence.
  • Define and execute the enterprise BI strategy, roadmap, governance framework, and reporting portfolio in alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Oversee enterprise analytics and reporting platforms, including Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Oracle Fusion OTBI/BIP, Salesforce reporting, and related technologies.
  • Establish and maintain standards for BI architecture, KPI definitions, data governance, security, documentation, data quality, and performance.
  • Own the complete BI product lifecycle, from business intake and prioritization through development, testing, deployment, adoption, training, and ongoing support.
  • Lead the modernization of legacy reporting environments and migration toward future-state analytics platforms.
  • Build governed self-service analytics programs that empower business users while maintaining appropriate standards, controls, and data integrity.
  • Partner with global business, data, and technology stakeholders to prioritize investments, manage competing demands, and maximize business value.
  • Oversee portfolio planning, backlog management, JIRA governance, release management, and performance measurement.
  • Support advanced analytics, data science, and AI initiatives in collaboration with enterprise technology and data governance teams.
  • Communicate strategy, progress, risks, priorities, and measurable business outcomes to senior and executive stakeholders.
  • Promote continuous improvement, innovation, and adoption of modern analytics practices across the enterprise.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Analytics, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 6+ years of progressive experience in Business Intelligence, analytics, enterprise reporting, data platforms, or a closely related discipline.
  • 4+ years of people leadership experience, ideally within a global, complex, or matrixed organization.
  • Proven experience developing and executing enterprise BI strategy, governance, adoption, and product delivery initiatives.
  • Deep technical expertise with Power BI, DAX, SQL, semantic models, data modeling, governance, security, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms and enterprise applications, including ERP and CRM environments.
  • Strong understanding of data governance, KPI standardization, reporting architecture, analytics best practices, and enterprise data management.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, portfolio prioritization, backlog management, release processes, and JIRA governance.
  • Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, influencing, and executive presentation skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on understanding of BI technologies and delivery practices.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI Premium, Azure, AWS, Tabular Editor, DAX Studio, XMLA endpoints, Power Automate, DevOps, or CI/CD frameworks is an asset.
  • Experience with Oracle Fusion OTBI/BIP, Salesforce reporting, MDM, ERP integrations, or semantic model governance is a plus.
  • Experience establishing BI Centers of Excellence, super-user networks, or governed self-service analytics programs is desirable.
  • A Master’s degree or MBA in Analytics, Information Systems, Data Science, Technology, Business, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Experience supporting global commercial, finance, service, marketing, or executive stakeholders is beneficial.
  • Knowledge of Lean, continuous improvement, change management, or similar methodologies is a plus.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% as required.
