This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Quotation Specialist based in India.
This role sits within a Revenue Operations function and provides essential support to sales teams throughout the quote-to-order lifecycle.
You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate, timely quotes and helping move opportunities efficiently through to closure.
The position combines commercial operations, Salesforce administration, CPQ processes, deal structuring, and cross-functional collaboration.
You’ll work closely with sales, deal desk, legal, product, pricing, finance, renewals, and channel teams to ensure deals are complete and accurately documented.
Your attention to detail will directly contribute to data quality, customer satisfaction, revenue accuracy, and sales efficiency.

- Manage quoting activities: Prepare accurate pricing and solution quotes, including renewal, add-on, migration, and other opportunity-related quotations, while meeting applicable turnaround targets.
- Support CPQ and Salesforce operations: Contribute to the maintenance of the CPQ function within Salesforce and ensure opportunities, customer accounts, products, and related records are complete and accurate.
- Coordinate with sales teams: Partner closely with Account Executives, Client Relationship Managers, and other sales stakeholders to understand client requirements and develop appropriate solution packages and quotes.
- Facilitate deal structuring: Work with Deal Desk, Product, Pricing, Finance, Sales, Legal, and other functional teams to collect technical and commercial inputs and support deal approval processes.
- Maintain opportunity quality: Review opportunities and sales bookings for completeness, accuracy, required documentation, and appropriate stage progression before they move forward.
- Identify commercial risks: Review client opportunities and associated contractual considerations, flag potential risks, and participate in risk reviews when required.
- Support order processing: Assist with order processing and provide timely acknowledgments to clients while ensuring documentation and system records remain accurate.
- Maintain operational Keep customer information, product records, contract dates, opportunity stages, and other Salesforce data up to date and aligned with internal standards.
- Monitor contracts and profitability: Review contract expiry information and support quarterly reporting on contract profitability against relevant ARR/ATR measures.
- Provide reporting support: Assist Revenue Operations leadership with weekly and quarterly sales activity reporting and other operational analyses.
- Provide product and process support: Use strong system, sales, product, and problem-solving knowledge to help sales stakeholders navigate quoting and commercial processes effectively.
- Deliver customer-focused service: Maintain a high standard of responsiveness and accuracy while supporting multiple client accounts and their respective time zones.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Relevant experience: At least 1 year of experience in sales operations, quoting, quote-to-order (Q2O) processes, or a related commercial operations environment.
- Salesforce expertise: Experience using Salesforce is required; familiarity with Salesforce CPQ or similar price-quoting tools is preferred.
- Industry exposure: Previous experience in the software or SaaS industry is an advantage.
- Technical proficiency: Comfortable using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Process orientation: Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to follow structured processes while maintaining accuracy under deadlines.
- Prioritization: Able to manage multiple projects, quotes, opportunities, and competing priorities simultaneously.
- Adaptability: Comfortable responding quickly to changing business requirements, customer needs, and sales priorities.
- Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across sales and cross-functional teams.
- Relationship management: Able to build trusted working relationships with sales representatives, CRM teams, functional leaders, and operational stakeholders.
- Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Flexibility: Willing and able to support allocated client accounts across different time zones when required.
