RN, Employee Health in Soldotna, Alaska at Central Peninsula Hospital

POSITION SUMMARY: The Employee Health Nurse promotes a safe, healthy workforce by developing, implementing, and managing a comprehensive Employee Health Program. This role focuses on the prevention, identification, and management of occupational illness and injury through surveillance, screening, and timely intervention. The Employee Health Nurse coordinates employee health services including pre-employment and ongoing health screenings, immunization and exposure management. The Employee Health nurse collaborates with Infection Prevention and Human Resources to ensure regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Associate's degree in Nursing
• Current Alaska RN licensure
• 3 years of experience in Healthcare setting
• Experience in data tracking, analyzing, trending and reporting
• Basic understanding of federal and state regulations applicable to occupational and environment health and safety
• Ability to use EPIC
• Moderate computer software skills - Microsoft Office, email and electronic calendar (Outlook).

PREFERRED:

• 2 years of Employee Health/Public Health experience
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (ABOHN)
