The Role:

  • Oversee program compliance with all regulatory standards, including State Radiation Licensing.
  • Collaborate with researchers to identify imaging targets, ensure appropriate image capture, image analysis and data processing.
  • Work with the SNPRC teams to ensure full veterinary, technical, and scheduling support for the imaging processes.

  • Supervise and develop an imaging team to support research capabilities and data delivery.
  • Support the writing of core components as required for the SNPRC base grants (P51), and the annual progress report for the component.

Our Ideal Candidate:

The ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree (Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent) in a relevant scientific discipline and at least two years of experience in preclinical or laboratory animal imaging. Candidates with five or more years of experience leading research imaging programs or conducting nonhuman primate research are strongly preferred. Experience with PET/CT and MRI imaging, developing innovative imaging methodologies, managing shared research core facilities, and collaborating with multidisciplinary research teams is highly desirable. Licensure or professional certification, as applicable to the candidate's field.

What We Can Offer You:

• Enjoy an employee-centered culture grounded in open communication, empowerment, and trust. We believe in working hard and having fun, offering 100+ culture events each year to bring our team together and keep the energy strong!

• Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and life insurance coverage for you and your family—including pet insurance options.

• Flexible work arrangements that support a strong work-life balance.

• On-site medical clinic, wellness incentives, and prescription support programs designed to make care more accessible and affordable.

• On-site fitness center and wellness programs to help you stay active and healthy.

• Relaxed dress code so you can feel comfortable and be yourself at work.
