MRI Tech Assistant in Pinehurst, North Carolina at FirstHealth of the Carolinas

Assists in monitoring the flow of patient activities throughout the department.

Assists MRI Technologist in performing duties as well as help move and/or transport patients.

Performs cleaning and organizing duties.

Performs clerical functions.

Follows policy and procedures.

Ability to navigate on-line resources pertinent to job responsibilities.

Ability to communicate with other individuals; visual acuity; ability to lift and move patients; ability to push and pull wheelchairs and stretchers; ability to withstand extensive standing, stooping, bending, squatting; ability to withstand long periods of sitting; ability to push/pull and/or operate heavy machines/equipment; ability to perform repetitive tasks.

Completion of high school or its equivalent

Knowledge of medical terminology

Previous experience in healthcare or office setting preferred

Maintains certification in BLS
