Job Summary:
The Tradeshow Coordinator/ Customer Service Assistant is responsible for the planning and coordination of the company’s tradeshow events. When not planning for an event, this person will be assisting the Customer Service/Sales team in answering and resolving customer questions or issues in a professional, expeditious manner while maintaining a positive, courteous approach to internal and external customers.
Responsibilities and Duties:- Responsible for the planning, coordination, and enablement of domestic and international trade shows.Manage all aspects of tradeshow including event registration and travel arrangements as requestedProvide support and assistance to marketing, business development and professional staff with coordinating event materials (e.g., promotional items, banners, tents, etc.)Responsible for tracking inventory (promo, banners, and event signage) to and from event. Includes shipping product via UPS or semi-truck. Arrange travel to facilitate event setup and event management as neededComplete data entry, edits and prepare various documents and reports for the department. Accurately enters required data into one or more databases, documents, or spreadsheets.Update and verify client databases by reconciling monthly statements.Ensures completeness of received information and reconciles inconsistencies.Receives, gathers, analyzes, and organizes information from multiple sources.Preparation, filing, and indexing of documents All other duties assigned by your manager.

Education and Experience:
- High school graduation or equivalentTechnical Degree in related field preferred Minimum one-year administrative work experienceExcellent communication, interpersonal and computer skills. Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Excel.Ability to effectively utilize an ERP system to manage business as well as assist co-workers and direct reports. Solid understanding of safe work practices and OSHA.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.Able to perform regular bending, twisting, and lifting to shelve.Ability to lift and carry up to 80 pounds and push and/or pull carts, displays, trade show materials, and equipment as needed.
