Reports to
Chief Pilot
Qualifications
• ATP certificate preferred; ATP minimums required.
• 1st class medical.
• Able to pass full DOT background checks and initial and random drug screens.
• Multi engine experience.
• Physical ability to perform all job duties.
• Prior 121 SIC Experience in Saab 2000 preferred.
Duties and Responsibilities
These shall include, but are not limited to the following:
• Responsible for having a thorough working knowledge of the equipment operated, Federal Aviation Regulations governing the operation of this equipment as well as the Company’s manuals, policies and other instructions.
• Responsible to the captain for the proper planning of the flight in accordance with all applicable weather information and reports, applicable Company policies and Federal Aviation Regulations.
• Performing all duties the captain may assign in flight.
• Delegating functions to other crewmembers only when command of the aircraft is assumed due to incapacitation of the PIC.
• Possessing required certificates and documents appropriate for flight performance.
• Employing CRM concept of “Assertiveness with Respect”.
• Continuing the professional training toward upgrading their performance and abilities.
• Observing the Rules of Conduct for all employees as outlined in the Sterling Airways Team Member Handbook.
