The team at Dr A M Kahane Dental located in Fernie, BC is looking for a passionate, hard-working Licensed Dental Hygienist on a full-time basis.

The ideal Licensed Dental Hygienist for our team will be highly motivated to educate patients on preventative dental care and oral hygiene, as well as empower them in their commitment to good oral health by developing treatment plans and home care routines tailored towards the patients’ needs.

SCHEDULE:

• 32-40 hours per week
• Monday through Friday
• Will consider a temporary contract

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

• Currently registered with the BC College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP)
• Successful completion of the National Dental Hygiene Certification Examination (NDHCE).
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR for Healthcare Providers
• Certification in the administration of local anesthesia is preferred
• Experience with digital radiography and electronic dental records.
• Experience working in a general practice or multidisciplinary dental clinic preferred
• New graduates welcome!
• Experience with dental practice management software such as Cleardent is considered an asset
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, with patients, colleagues, and external healthcare providers.
