Job Description

Job Overview

We are looking for a proactive and organized Assistant Manager, HR & People Operations to support recruitment, HR operations, payroll coordination, employee documentation, reporting, and admin activities.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on HR experience, strong communication skills, good attention to detail, and the ability to work closely with leadership, department heads, employees, and candidates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage recruitment activities, including job posting, candidate screening, interview coordination, and offer follow-ups
  • Maintain employee records, HR databases, contracts, offer letters, onboarding documents, and exit documentation
  • Support onboarding, probation reviews, performance review cycles, and employee confirmations
  • Coordinate payroll inputs, attendance, leave records, deductions, increments, and full and final settlements
  • Support employee relations, workplace concerns, disciplinary documentation, and policy implementation
  • Prepare monthly HR reports, recruitment trackers, payroll sheets, and employee data reports
  • Assist in updating HR policies, employee handbooks, attendance policies, and leave policies
  • Coordinate admin tasks, office operations, vendors, supplies, and employee engagement activities
  • Support employer branding, internal communication, and culture-building initiatives
  • Use HR tools, Excel/Google Sheets, JazzHR, and AI tools to improve hiring, documentation, and reporting processes
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • 4–6 years of experience in HR operations, recruitment, people operations, or HR generalist roles
  • Experience with recruitment, onboarding, employee records, payroll coordination, and HR reporting
  • Strong Excel, Google Sheets, documentation, and reporting skills
  • Good understanding of HR policies, employee relations, attendance, leave, and payroll processes
  • Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle confidential employee and payroll information professionally
  • Tech-savvy mindset with the ability to use AI tools for HR productivity
Preferred Skills
  • Experience using JazzHR or similar recruitment tools
  • Experience managing HR and admin functions together
  • Experience preparing HR reports and dashboards
  • Experience supporting employee engagement and company events
