When production slows down, your work becomes even more important. You'll help ensure our equipment is ready to perform when the next shift arrives.
Your responsibilities include:
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment
- Weld, fabricate, and repair piping, conveyor systems, and structural components
- Install and replace bearings, gearboxes, motors, belts, rollers, and other mechanical components
- Perform preventive maintenance and scheduled equipment inspections
- Identify potential mechanical issues before they lead to downtime
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, torches, manlifts, telehandlers, and skid loaders
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
- Follow all safety policies and lockout/tagout procedures
- Work independently while communicating effectively with supervisors and production personnel
We're seeking someone who brings:
- Experience as a Millwright, Industrial Mechanic, or Mechanical Maintenance Technician
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Welding and fabrication experience
- Experience working with conveyors, bearings, gearboxes, pumps, and rotating equipment
- Ability to read measuring tools and perform precision repairs
- Experience operating heavy equipment is a plus
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Welding certification
- Industrial manufacturing, quarry, or aggregate experience
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience
- Rigging or crane experience
This position works in an active industrial environment both indoors and outdoors.
The ideal candidate is comfortable:
- Working overnight hours
- Working independently with minimal supervision
- Working around heavy industrial equipment
- Climbing ladders and working at elevated heights
- Lifting up to 90 pounds
- Working in varying weather conditions
- Standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and performing physically demanding work throughout the shift
