CNC Machine Shop Manager in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua at Sparrow Company LLC

We are seeking a Machine Shop Manager to join our team at our Ciudad Juarez facility.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the activities of employees engaged in the machine shop including shift supervisors, CNC machinists, programmers, technicians and multifunctional operators.
• Oversee work schedules, assignments and priorities to meet department goals.
• Resolve worker performance issues.
• Oversee work to ensure quality and that projects are moving forward to completion.
• Supervise the correct use of machinery, tools and equipment. Coordinate preventative and corrective maintenance.
• Coordinate with engineering and operation teams both onsite and at the corporate headquarters to address and resolve technical and operational problems.
• Recommend measures to improve capability in employee performance, techniques, production methods, and product quality and equipment efficiency.

Job Requirements:

• 5+ year’s supervisory/management experience in a machine shop environment.
• Experience with both programming and operation of 3-axis and 5-axis CNC machines, conventional and wire EDM and CAM software.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and geometric tolerancing.
• Ability to lead teams, effectively communicate priorities and drive projects forward.
• Ability to problem solve and think creatively.
• Attention to detail.
• Bilingual – English and Spanish
