Position Title: Customer Service Representative - Traveling
Description:

This position is located in office at the Richardson Operations Center Branch - 1100 Centennial Blvd, Richardson, TX 75081

Summary

The Customer Service Representative (CSR) is responsible for providing exceptional customer service, accurately processing customer transactions, and maintaining a safe and secure working environment. The Customer Service Representative is the face of the company, and a friendly, professional attitude is essential in building customer relationships. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are key to helping customers with their financial needs. This position will serve as a floating/traveling CSR between multiple locations as needed to fill in for staffing shortages, vacations, and busy periods. Promotes and maintains the Bank’s mission, values and culture. Provides exceptional communication and service to employees and customers.

Essential Functions/Job Responsibilities

  • Travel to designated branch locations on an as-needed basis to cover absences, vacations, or high-volume periods.
  • Greet customers upon arrival and provide prompt, courteous service.
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions accurately and efficiently per Inwood procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions.
  • Balance cash drawer and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Answer customer inquiries and provide appropriate information.
  • Refer customers to the appropriate staff for further assistance.
  • Maintain a clean and professional workstation.
  • Adhere to all security procedures and regulations to minimize risk.
  • Identify customer needs and suggest appropriate products or services.
  • Cross-sell bank products and services to customers.
  • Monitor customer feedback and provide insights for product and process improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with established Bank policies and procedures. Demonstrates knowledge of, adherence to, monitoring and responsibility for compliance with state and federal regulations and related laws as they pertain to the Bank Secrecy Act in conjunction with the USA PATRIOT Act, Anti-Money Laundering and Customer Information Program.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Cash handling experience.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Good organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to accurately handle and count money.
  • Basic computer skills and willingness to learn banking software programs.
  • Maintain reliable personal transportation to commute within the assigned geographic region.
  • Willing to learn banking regulations and procedure.
  • Ability to
    • Quickly adapt to varying branch layouts, different management styles, and specific branch operating procedures. Will be reimbursed for mileage from ROC to branch location.
    • Work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Maintain confidentiality.
    • Adhere to policies and procedures.
    • Work independently and as part of a team.
    • Manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Prior Teller / Banking Customer Service Representative experience (Preferred)
