Outpatient Therapist (LCSW/LCPC/LMFT) in Chicago, Illinois at Blue Kite Wellness

Location: Chicago, IL - Near Illinois Medical District (60624/60644)

Employment Type: Full-Time (25–30 hours per week, hourly)

Work Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days onsite and 2 days remote per week)

About the Role:

Blue Kite Wellness is looking for a Licensed Outpatient Therapist (IM-CANS Certified) to provide essential therapeutic services for clients in a client-centered, trauma-informed environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver outpatient therapy to individuals, families, couples, and groups.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with clients and clinical staff.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with clinical, ethical, and legal standards, including through the use of TherapyAppointment and EHR systems.
• Participate in weekly team meetings to promote professional development.
• Contribute to a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for both clients and staff.

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or a related field.
• Active Illinois license (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT)
• IM-CANS Certified (or willingness to obtain certification).
• Experience working with clients in a therapy setting.
• Proficiency or willingness to learn how to navigate TherapyAppointment and EHR systems.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusive clinical practices.
• Enthusiasm to grow professionally within a supportive clinical environment.

Preferred (Not Required):

• Experience with EHR systems (such as TherapyAppointment or similar platforms).
• Experience working with populations such as youth, trauma survivors, LGBTQIA+, and BIPOC communities.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills.

Schedule Overview:

• Flexible working hours within an 8:00 AM–8:00 PM window
• Scheduling is based on client needs and team coordination
• Occasional evening availability may be required depending on program demand

Pay Rate: $55.00–$65.00 per hour. Placement within the range is determined by experience, credentials, and overall qualifications. Orientation and training hours are paid at $25.00 per hour.
