This role sits at the intersection of deep technical expertise and high-impact enterprise sales, focused on driving adoption of a next-generation analytical database platform.
You will own the full sales cycle for global accounts, engaging directly with senior technical stakeholders such as CTOs, data platform leaders, and engineering teams.
The position requires a strong ability to translate complex technical value into clear business outcomes, particularly around performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
You will lead technical evaluations, including proof-of-value cycles, working closely with engineers to demonstrate real-world performance advantages.
A key part of the role involves competing in highly technical deal cycles against leading data infrastructure platforms.
You will operate in a fast-moving, early-stage environment where ownership, autonomy, and commercial impact are central to success.

- Own and drive the full enterprise sales cycle end-to-end, including prospecting, discovery, technical validation, negotiation, and deal closure.
- Engage with global accounts across the US, Europe, and APAC, managing multi-time-zone stakeholder relationships.
- Conduct deep technical and architectural conversations with data engineering and platform teams, positioning performance and cost advantages effectively.
- Design and execute proof-of-value (POC/POV) engagements in close collaboration with engineering teams.
- Build and maintain a strong, qualified pipeline with disciplined forecasting and CRM accuracy.
- Develop competitive displacement strategies against major data platforms, leveraging benchmark-driven positioning.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to refine messaging, surface market feedback, and influence go-to-market strategy.
- Ensure smooth progression of opportunities from initial engagement through to contract execution and expansion.
- Proven experience selling data infrastructure or data platform products (e.g., databases, data warehouses, lakehouse, streaming, or analytics platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, ClickHouse, BigQuery, Confluent, MongoDB, or similar).
- Strong track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas in complex enterprise environments.
- Ability to confidently engage with technical buyers and discuss architecture, performance, scalability, and cost considerations.
- Experience running technical evaluations, POCs, or POVs as part of enterprise sales cycles.
- Strong commercial acumen, including pricing strategy, negotiation, and deal structuring.
- Ability to operate independently across global time zones from an India base, including US and Europe coverage.
- Self-driven, resourceful, and comfortable in ambiguous, high-growth environments.
- Familiarity with modern data ecosystems (e.g., open table formats, data pipelines, or cloud-native analytics stacks) is a plus.
- Prior experience in early-stage or high-growth SaaS/data companies is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical narratives for business and technical audiences.
