Accountabilities:
  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules across multiple general ledger accounts including cash, prepaids, fixed assets, payroll, leases, investments, and intercompany transactions.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes by analyzing financial results and ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
  • Perform flux and variance analyses, identifying trends, discrepancies, and actionable insights using data-driven and AI-enabled tools.
  • Partner cross-functionally with FP&A, Payroll, People Operations, Legal, and other teams to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls while ensuring audit-ready documentation and compliance with US GAAP standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and efficiency enhancements within accounting workflows.
  • Support external audits, system implementations, and special finance projects as needed.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar role, preferably in a high-growth SaaS or technology environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA certification is a strong plus.
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting standards, and internal control frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems, with NetSuite preferred.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large and complex datasets; familiarity with AI-enabled tools is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a proven ability to resolve discrepancies and improve processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing accurate, audit-ready financial records.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict month-end close deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional stakeholder engagement.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $108,000 to $127,000 USD, plus equity eligibility.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with strong employer coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company match and immediate vesting.
  • Flexible PTO policy, paid sick leave, and company-paid holidays.
  • Remote-first work environment with home office, internet, and phone stipends.
  • Health, wellness, and family planning benefits.
  • Parental leave policy offering up to 16 weeks for new parents.
  • Access to learning opportunities, virtual events, and professional development resources.
