This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a WebMethods Platform Developer & Administrator based in India.
This role is centered on the stability, performance, and continuous evolution of enterprise integration platforms that power mission-critical business processes. You will be responsible for administering and supporting complex WebMethods environments across development, testing, and production landscapes. The position requires strong technical expertise in middleware infrastructure, ensuring high availability, secure connectivity, and optimized performance across distributed systems. You will work closely with integration developers, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity specialists, and business stakeholders to support seamless data and application flows. This is a hands-on operational role where you will take ownership of platform reliability, incident resolution, and infrastructure improvements. You will also contribute to modernization and migration initiatives, ensuring systems evolve with enterprise needs. - Administer and maintain WebMethods platform components including Integration Server, Universal Messaging, API Gateway, My WebMethods Server, and related modules.
- Ensure platform stability, high availability, performance tuning, and capacity planning across development, QA, UAT, and production environments.
- Manage infrastructure operations including server provisioning, patching, upgrades, hotfixes, and lifecycle management activities.
- Support incident and problem management as L3 support, performing root cause analysis and driving resolution of critical production issues.
- Monitor system health using logs, metrics, and monitoring tools to ensure proactive detection and resolution of performance issues.
- Handle security and access management, including user roles, SSL certificates, authentication mechanisms, and compliance requirements.
- Troubleshoot complex connectivity issues involving networks, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, DNS, and external integrations.
- Lead or support platform migration, modernization, and disaster recovery initiatives, ensuring minimal downtime and operational continuity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define operational standards, documentation, and best practices for platform governance.
- 7+ years of experience in WebMethods platform administration in enterprise environments.
- Strong expertise in Integration Server, Universal Messaging, API Gateway, and My WebMethods Server.
- Solid experience in Linux and Windows Server administration.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, DNS, SSL/TLS, firewalls, and load balancing.
- Hands-on experience in troubleshooting, log analysis, and performance optimization of middleware systems.
- Experience managing upgrades, patching, migrations, and disaster recovery processes.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools and enterprise observability platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
- Exposure to Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, or DevOps practices is an added advantage.
