About the role
The Multi-Media and Digital Designer is a key individual contributor on Naterra’s Creative team, responsible for developing compelling, on-brand digital content across e-commerce, digital storefronts, email, digital advertising, and video. This role partners closely Creative team and cross-functional teams to execute digital-first creative that drives engagement and conversion for Naterra’s portfolio of beauty and personal care brands, including Tree Hut and Baby Magic.
This position is ideal for a digitally fluent, detail-oriented designer with strong experience in e-commerce and digital design who can translate brand strategy into high-performing executions. The Multi-Media and Digital Designer thrives in a fast-paced environment, manages multiple projects with confidence, and combines creative excellence with light copywriting and a working knowledge of AI tools to deliver impactful work across digital channels.
What you'll do
- Design and produce best-in-class product detail page (PDP) content for e-commerce platforms, including Amazon, Walmart.com, and brand-owned digital storefronts, ensuring compelling, conversion-focused visual storytelling.
- Concept, design, and deploy eNews (email) campaigns from layout through final production, incorporating light copywriting to support messaging and drive engagement across subscriber audiences.
- Create and optimize digital advertising assets across paid social, display, and retail media channels, adapting creative for multiple placements, sizes, and platform specifications.
- Leverage AI tools to enhance creative workflows, accelerate production, and explore innovative approaches to content development across digital channels.
- Partner with the Creative and Brand teams to translate brand strategy, seasonal priorities, and campaign objectives into compelling digital concepts and executions across all owned and paid channels.
- Write clear, on-brand copy to support digital assets, including product descriptions, email subject lines, headlines, and social captions, in close collaboration with the Brand team.
- Manage multiple digital projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment while maintaining a high bar for quality and brand consistency.
- Stay current on digital design trends, platform best practices, and emerging tools to continuously elevate the quality and effectiveness of Naterra’s digital creative output.
- Bonus: Edit and produce video content for digital and social platforms, including short-form reels, product demos, and brand storytelling assets, from raw footage through final delivery.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in a digital design role with a CPG, beauty, or e-commerce focused portfolio preferred.
- Strong design eye with expertise in digital typography, layout, color, and UX best practices for e-commerce and digital marketing environments.
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere Pro, After Effects). Experience in Figma a plus. Hands-on proficiency with AI-powered creative tools (e.g. Adobe Firefly).
- Demonstrated experience designing PDPs, digital storefronts, and eNews/email campaigns, with a portfolio that showcases digital-first work.
- Video editing skills with experience producing short-form content for digital and social platforms; motion graphics experience a plus.
- Light copywriting ability with a strong grasp of brand voice; experience writing for e-commerce, email, or social copy preferred.
- Knowledge of digital ad specs, platform requirements (Meta, Amazon, Google, TikTok), and CMS/email production platforms.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Design, Digital Media, Communications, or related field.
- Ability to balance creative ambition with organizational skills and business acumen; skilled at delivering high-quality work in a fast-paced environment.
- Keen eye for detail with the ability to proof work for quality, accuracy, and brand consistency across all digital outputs.
