This role sits at the intersection of network architecture design and hands-on engineering execution, supporting the development of robust, scalable IP-based connectivity platforms used in mission-critical remote environments. You will contribute to defining and evolving architectural standards across domains such as SD-WAN, transport networks, and network security, ensuring alignment with global infrastructure strategies. The position plays a key role in translating high-level architectural intent into practical, build-ready designs that engineering and operations teams can implement reliably. You will work closely with senior architects, engineering teams, and network operations centers to validate solutions and ensure compliance with technical standards. The environment is highly collaborative and globally distributed, offering exposure to cutting-edge networking technologies and large-scale infrastructure challenges. This is a growth-oriented role designed to build deep architectural expertise and prepare you for progression into a full IP Architect position.
In this role, you will take ownership of defined IP architecture domains and contribute to the design, standardization, and implementation of scalable network solutions across global platforms. You will bridge architectural strategy with engineering execution to ensure consistent, high-quality deployments.
- Own and develop domain-specific architecture standards, reference designs, and implementation guidelines for areas such as SD-WAN, transport, and network security
- Translate high-level architecture into detailed HLDs and LLDs that are executable by engineering and operations teams
- Support design validation, configuration reviews, and deployment assurance across IP engineering initiatives
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, configuration templates, and reusable design patterns
- Conduct proof-of-concept testing and lab validation for new technologies and vendor solutions
- Define resiliency, capacity, and failover requirements aligned with global network availability objectives
- Collaborate with NOC and engineering teams to ensure operational readiness and smooth implementation handovers
- Contribute to change management processes, deployment strategies, and rollback procedures
This role requires strong foundational expertise in IP networking and architecture, combined with the ability to translate design principles into practical engineering outcomes. The ideal candidate brings both technical depth and collaborative capability within large-scale, distributed environments.
- Experience in IP network architecture, design, or senior network engineering roles
- Strong knowledge of SD-WAN, MPLS, EVPN, transport networks, and network security principles
- Ability to produce HLDs, LLDs, and detailed technical documentation for implementation teams
- Hands-on experience with network protocols, segmentation, resiliency design, and capacity planning
- Familiarity with lab validation, PoC development, and vendor technology evaluation
- Understanding of network operations workflows, including NOC support and escalation processes
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in complex network environments
- Ability to collaborate across global engineering, operations, and architecture teams
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable designs
- Exposure to automation, infrastructure modernization, or cloud-integrated networking is an advantage
