Requirements
- Minimum 2 years full-time or 4 years part-time experience teaching French.
- Experience teaching French to non-native speakers, preferably adults.
- Strong knowledge of French grammar, speaking, listening, reading, and writing instruction.
- Ability to prepare lesson plans, handouts, exercises, and classroom materials.
- Experience with DELF, TCF, or similar language programs is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to support students at different levels.
- Teach French language classes to adult Embassy students.
- Deliver 1-hour class sessions based on the approved schedule.
- Prepare lessons focused on speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
- Adjust instruction based on each student’s level and learning goals.
- Include practical and job-related vocabulary for professional use.
- Track attendance and monitor student progress.
- Provide feedback and learning recommendations to students.
- Coordinate with the Post Language Officer when required.
