The Project Civil Engineer will manage and support land development projects while ensuring technical excellence, regulatory compliance, and strong client outcomes. This role requires hands-on engineering expertise, effective coordination, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across project lifecycles.

• Lead civil engineering design activities for public and private land development projects.
• Prepare detailed engineering plans, including utility plans and profiles, grading plans, roadway plans, and related construction documentation.
• Perform storm drainage calculations and support site development analysis.
• Develop preliminary plats and contribute to additional civil engineering design activities as required.
• Coordinate regularly with project teams, clients, contractors, government agencies, and permitting authorities.
• Support project delivery by ensuring designs meet quality standards, schedules, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with construction administration teams during project implementation and construction phases.
• Manage project tasks independently while forecasting needs and proactively addressing challenges.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships while supporting ongoing project opportunities.
• Contribute technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and engineering guidance within a collaborative team environment.

The ideal candidate is a civil engineering professional with experience in land development design, permitting, and project coordination. They should demonstrate strong technical capabilities, communication skills, and the ability to manage engineering responsibilities independently.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university or college.
• 3–5+ years of relevant experience in site design, land development, and permitting.
• Professional Engineering (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification in Idaho or Washington preferred.
• Experience designing land development projects, including grading, drainage, utilities, and roadway systems.
• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or MicroStation.
• Solid understanding of civil engineering principles, design standards, and permitting processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and project stakeholders.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and work independently.
