Position Information
Under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator, the Staff Research Associate I (SRA 1) will provide baseline technical and administrative support to ongoing educational research initiatives. The incumbent will assist with data collection activities, including scheduling school site visits, distributing student surveys, and recruiting schools. Additional responsibilities include performing accurate data entry, cleaning qualitative transcription files, and maintaining the project database in strict compliance with human subjects institutional review board (IRB) and privacy regulations.This is a full-time appointment with an anticipated funding for one year, with the possibility of continuation contingent upon funding. The full salary range for the Staff Research Associate 1 is $30.41 - $36.31 per hour. However, the expected pay scale for this position is up to $30.41 per hour. We base salary offers on a variety of considerations, such as education, licensure and certifications, experience, and other business and organizational needs.Applicants must have current work authorization when accepting a UCR staff position. Currently, we are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa for staff.As a University employee, you will be required to comply with all applicable University policies and/or collective bargaining agreements, as may be amended from time to time. Federal, state, or local government directives may impose additional requirements.
