The Parts Counterperson is responsible for assisting technicians, service advisors, and customers with identifying, sourcing, and selling automotive parts and accessories. This role supports efficient service operations by ensuring accurate parts selection, timely fulfillment, and proper inventory handling while delivering professional customer service.

Job Duties
- Assist technicians and service advisors by identifying and supplying required parts.
- Help retail and wholesale customers locate and purchase automotive parts and accessories.
- Accurately process parts sales, returns, and exchanges in the DMS.
- Maintain organized parts inventory and ensure proper stocking and labeling.
- Verify part numbers, pricing, and availability.
- Communicate with vendors and suppliers as needed.
- Support inventory counts, returns, and restocking processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts counter area.
- Follow dealership policies and procedures related to parts sales and inventory control.
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous automotive parts, service, or dealership experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of automotive parts and vehicle systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn dealership systems.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented work ethic
- Able to successfully pass a background screening, drug test, and motor vehicle record (MVR) check, as applicable.
