Senior Project Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Project Manager based in the United States.

This role is at the center of complex digital delivery work, where you will lead multiple client engagements from discovery through launch and ongoing support. You will act as the primary point of contact for clients while also coordinating cross-functional teams of designers, developers, and strategists in a fully remote environment. The position requires strong ownership of delivery performance, including timelines, budgets, and overall project health. You will play a key role in keeping work on track, removing blockers, and ensuring teams operate efficiently in a fast-moving, high-standard agency setting. Beyond execution, you will help identify growth opportunities within accounts and contribute to shaping delivery excellence across the organization. This is a leadership-driven role for someone who thrives in structured chaos, client-facing accountability, and collaborative digital product delivery.

Accountabilities
  • Own and manage a portfolio of client projects from kickoff through delivery and post-launch support, ensuring alignment on scope, timelines, and outcomes across all stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary client-facing lead, building trust, managing expectations, and ensuring clear, consistent communication throughout project lifecycles.
  • Drive day-to-day execution by proactively identifying risks, resolving blockers, and maintaining momentum across distributed, cross-functional teams.
  • Manage project financials including budgets, burn rates, margins, and delivery efficiency to ensure both client and internal success.
  • Lead coordination of designers, developers, and other contributors, ensuring structured workflows and high-quality outputs in a remote-first environment.
  • Monitor account health and identify opportunities for expansion or additional value delivery, surfacing insights to internal teams when appropriate.
  • Contribute to delivery standards and best practices, helping elevate team performance through leadership and example.
Requirements

This role requires a seasoned project delivery professional with strong agency or digital product experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complexity with confidence. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, evolving environments.

  • 5+ years of experience in project management, digital delivery, or agency operations, ideally managing client-facing engagements.
  • Strong experience leading cross-functional teams in design, development, or product environments.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical and creative concepts for diverse stakeholders, including executive-level clients.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, timelines, and delivery metrics in a structured and accountable manner.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a remote environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving ability with a proactive approach to risk identification and resolution.
  • Strong interest in modern workflows, including AI-assisted delivery tools and evolving digital production methods.
  • Ability to build trust-based client relationships and maintain composure in high-pressure situations.
