This role is focused on building and maintaining robust automated testing solutions that ensure the quality, reliability, and compliance of complex web and mobile applications. You will work closely with software engineers, product owners, and QA teams in an agile environment to design scalable test automation frameworks and execute end-to-end testing strategies. The position plays a critical role in ensuring software meets both functional and regulatory requirements, particularly within highly regulated domains. This is a hands-on engineering role where attention to detail, technical depth, and collaboration are essential. You will also gain exposure to regulated software development environments and modern automation tools.
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using tools such as Playwright, Selenium, Katalon, Ranorex, or TestComplete.
- Participate in the full testing lifecycle including test planning, design, scripting, execution, review, and reporting within agile development cycles.
- Execute functional, integration, system, and regression testing across multiple platforms to ensure software quality and stability.
- Create and maintain manual test cases for scenarios not yet covered by automation or unsuitable for automation.
- Manage defect tracking, test execution progress, and reporting using tools such as JIRA or similar test management systems.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA teams to ensure alignment on requirements and testing scope.
- Contribute to validation activities ensuring compliance with regulatory standards such as FDA guidelines, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11 where applicable.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog grooming.
- Review work from junior team members and provide guidance on testing best practices and automation standards.
- Continuously improve automation frameworks, testing processes, and overall test coverage.
- Identify root causes of quality issues and contribute to effective resolution and prevention strategies.
- 3–4 years of experience in software quality engineering, QA, or test automation roles.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Playwright (strongly preferred), Selenium, Katalon, Ranorex, TestComplete, or similar frameworks.
- Experience testing web and/or mobile applications across different platforms and environments.
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies and close collaboration with engineering teams.
- Experience working in regulated environments such as pharmaceuticals or clinical trials is a strong plus.
- Understanding of FDA regulations, GxP, and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and quality.
- Good written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in fast-paced environments.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and automation excellence.
- Competitive compensation with incentives and shift allowances.
- Comprehensive benefits including provident fund, medical insurance, and additional coverage.
- Hybrid and remote-friendly work setup with strong technology support.
- Employee engagement programs and local team events.
- Opportunity to work in a regulated, high-impact healthcare and clinical research environment.
- Access to modern automation tools and continuous learning opportunities.
- Structured Agile environment promoting collaboration and career growth.
