Job Description

Director, Product Marketing

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director, Product Marketing based in the United States.

This is a high-impact leadership role at the intersection of product, marketing, and go-to-market strategy, responsible for shaping how complex AI-driven hardware and software solutions are positioned in the market. You will define the narrative that connects advanced technology to clear, compelling business value for executive and operational audiences alike. The role blends strategic vision with hands-on execution, requiring someone who can both architect messaging frameworks and drive them through to sales impact. You will play a central role in pricing, packaging, and competitive positioning to accelerate revenue growth. Acting as a key bridge between Product, Sales, and Marketing, you will ensure alignment across all customer-facing messaging. This environment is fast-moving, highly technical, and deeply focused on innovation and market leadership. It is ideal for a builder who thrives in shaping emerging categories and scaling teams.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the corporate narrative and positioning, translating complex AI and hardware capabilities into compelling, executive-ready messaging that differentiates the business in a competitive market.
  • Lead strategic pricing, packaging, and segmentation initiatives to optimize revenue growth and align offerings with customer value perception.
  • Drive sales enablement by equipping commercial teams with insights, messaging, and tools to win high-value and complex deals.
  • Conduct market intelligence and competitive analysis to identify opportunities, inform strategy, and shape long-term product direction.
  • Serve as the voice of the market within Product, ensuring customer needs and industry trends are embedded in the development roadmap.
  • Manage and develop a small product marketing team, fostering a culture of execution excellence, curiosity, and ownership.
  • Identify gaps in processes, messaging, or tooling and proactively build scalable solutions to improve organizational effectiveness.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in Product Marketing, ideally within B2B SaaS, IoT, or complex hardware/software environments.
  • Strong executive communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to simplify technical concepts into clear business value.
  • Proven success partnering with Sales leadership and influencing revenue outcomes through messaging and strategy.
  • Deep analytical capability in pricing, packaging, market segmentation, and competitive positioning.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical innovation into compelling go-to-market narratives.
  • Experience leading and mentoring product marketing teams in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
  • Highly strategic yet hands-on, with a bias for building, iterating, and executing rather than maintaining existing structures.
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual base salary range of $179,100 – $225,000 USD, depending on experience, education, and location.
  • Performance-based bonus structure tied to business and individual impact.
  • Employee equity program offering ownership from day one.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Retirement benefits including a 401(k) plan with company match up to 4%.
  • Flexible paid time off to support work-life balance and personal well-being.
  • Opportunity to work in a high-growth, innovation-driven environment shaping the future of intelligent site technology.
