Job Title: Accountant
Location: Boca Raton, FL (Onsite)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000 annually, plus eligibility for annual performance bonus
About the Role
We're looking for an Accountant to join our growing Finance team and play a key role in the company's monthly accounting close process. This is not a narrow, single-function accounting position. Instead, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities, including accounts payable, journal entries, reconciliations, reporting, analysis, and financial operations.

What You'll Do
General Accounting & Month-End Close
- Prepare and post journal entries, including payroll, commissions, revenue, accruals, allocations, and inventory-related entries.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting close activities.
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations and maintain supporting schedules.
- Prepare profit and loss schedules and supporting financial analyses.
- Manage fixed asset and intangible asset accounting, including additions, disposals, depreciation, and amortization.
Accounts Payable & Cash Management
- Process vendor invoices and maintain accounts payable records.
- Manage vendor relationships and respond to payment inquiries.
- Process company checks and assist with cash disbursement activities.
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Administer corporate credit card programs and reconcile transactions.
Reporting & Financial Analysis
- Support preparation of internal financial reports and management reporting packages.
- Assist with debt reporting and lender reporting requirements.
- Analyze financial data and provide insights to support business decision-making.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and documentation.
Compliance & Administrative Accounting
- Support state and local tax filings, business registrations, and related compliance requirements.
- Ensure accounting records are maintained in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Assist with audit requests and supporting documentation as needed.

What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2 - 3 years of accounting experience, including exposure to month-end close processes.
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial statement preparation.
- Experience working with ERP or accounting software such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets, including Pivot Tables, XLOOKUPs, and financial data analysis.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a multi-location or high-growth company environment.
- Experience with inventory accounting and cost accounting principles.
- Experience preparing accruals, prepaids, and balance sheet reconciliations independently.
- Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with financial reporting, budgeting, and variance analysis.
