Porter/Janitor in Ontario, California at Sea Crest Facilities Services LLC

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and clean floors, hallways, lobbies, and common areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other designated areas.
• Collect, remove, and properly dispose of trash and recyclables.
• Maintain the cleanliness of entrances, sidewalks, parking areas, and outdoor spaces.
• Refill restroom supplies, including soap, paper towels, and toilet paper.
• Dust furniture, fixtures, windowsills, and other surfaces as needed.
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and damaged equipment to management.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks and special cleaning projects.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in a safe and organized manner.
• Follow established safety procedures and proper chemical-handling guidelines.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or property management.

Qualifications:

• Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying supplies.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to cleanliness, detail, and safety.
• Previous janitorial or porter experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain a professional attitude.
