Senior AEM Developer in India at Jobgether

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior AEM Developer based in India.

We are seeking an experienced Senior AEM Developer to build, optimize, and maintain high-quality digital experiences using Adobe Experience Manager (AEM). In this role, you will develop scalable components and templates, architect secure integrations, and strengthen platform performance across modern AEM environments. You will also contribute to analytics-driven optimization and personalized customer experiences using Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target. Working closely with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, you will help transform technical requirements into reliable, business-focused solutions. • Design, develop, and deploy custom components and templates for Adobe Experience Manager Sites, ensuring compatibility with AEM 6.5 and AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).

• Develop and implement secure REST APIs to support seamless integration with third-party systems and external services.

• Build and maintain automated testing suites using JUnit and Mockito to ensure code quality, reliability, and application stability.

• Configure and optimize Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target to support data-driven marketing, performance measurement, and personalization initiatives.

• Manage and optimize content repository structures using Java Content Repository (JCR), Apache Jackrabbit Oak, and CRXDE Lite.

• Collaborate with developers, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams within Agile/Scrum frameworks to deliver features on schedule.

• Troubleshoot technical issues, improve platform performance, and contribute to the continuous enhancement of digital solutions.

• 5–7 years of professional software development experience, with a strong specialization in Adobe Experience Manager.

• Advanced proficiency in REST API development and integration with third-party applications and services.

• Hands-on experience developing automated tests using JUnit and Mockito.

• Strong knowledge of Adobe Analytics and Adobe Target, including their use in tracking, optimization, and personalization.

• Practical experience working with both AEM 6.5 and AEM as a Cloud Service environments.

• Solid technical expertise in JCR, Apache Jackrabbit Oak, and CRXDE Lite for content repository management.

• Understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies and experience delivering software through iterative development cycles.

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to adapt to changing technical requirements.
