Parts Room Coordinator in Gunter, Texas at AMERITEX PIPE & PRODUCTS LLC

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following, but are not limited to:

Supervise the parts room operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, organization, and timely distribution of materials.Develop and implement inventory management processes to prevent shortages and reduce excess stock.Oversee the receiving, stocking, and issuing of parts, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.Maintain accurate records of parts transactions, including usage, purchases, and adjustments.Work closely with production, maintenance, and procurement teams to anticipate and fulfill parts requirements.Train, mentor, and supervise parts room staff to enhance productivity and ensure adherence to safety protocols.Conduct regular audits and cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy and reconcile discrepancies.Monitor supplier performance, track orders, and work with vendors to ensure timely deliveries.Optimize storage space and labeling systems to streamline accessibility and efficiency.Ensure compliance with company safety and operational standards within the parts room.QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION

3+ years of experience in inventory management, warehousing, or a related field, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, or a related field preferred.
