Job Summary
The Education Abroad Operations Manager provides essential operational and administrative support for the University of Kentucky’s Education Abroad & Exchanges programs. This position provides front-line customer service, manages communications and inquiries, coordinates student enrollment and records processes, supports program-related financial transactions, and oversees a variety of administrative functions that contribute to the successful delivery of education abroad opportunities. Working collaboratively with students, faculty, staff, and campus partners, the Operations Manager helps ensure efficient operations and a high level of service in support of UK’s global learning initiatives.

Student Success will, from the time of early college outreach to graduation and beyond, support students in living a life of meaning and purpose. From a student-centered framework, our practice will be grounded in peer-reviewed literature, national best practices, and data-informed decision making. Collaborating with the campus and community, Student Success will work through a holistic lens to support a community of learners in achieving success.

Preferred Education/Experience
Experience working in a higher education, student services, academic affairs, international education, or administrative operations environment.

Experience providing front-line customer service and managing communications via email, phone, and in-person interactions.

Experience with university financial systems, business processes, and financial transaction management.

Experience using student information systems, database systems, or enterprise software applications.
