Connections Director in New Albany, Indiana at Graceland Church

At Graceland Church, the Connection Director at the Charlestown campus (CHL) will be responsible for the oversight and leadership of groups, guest services, and Starting Point at the CHL campus. He/she will report directly to their matrix leader in the areas of vision, strategy and skill development and their campus pastor in the areas of people, logistics and quality. He/she will oversee any staff or volunteers that serve in group, guest services or Starting Point at the CHL campus.

Responsibilities and Essential Tasks

Community Groups:
1. Oversight and execution of Groups programming
2. Start new groups that coincide with the growth/direction of the church
3. Recruit, empower and lead a team of volunteer leaders to lead Community Groups

Guest Services:
1. Hire and oversee the Guest Services Coordinator.
2. Provide coaching, accountability, and leadership to the Guest Services Coordinator.
3. Ensure Guest Services teams maintain Graceland's culture, procedures, and standards while fostering a welcoming environment.
4. Oversee volunteer recruitment, training, and the execution of the Sunday morning experience.

Membership:
1. Oversight and execution of Starting Point
2. Recruit, empower and lead a team of volunteers to lead Starting Point
3. Work with volunteer leader team to transfer Starting Point culture to CHL campus

Leadership:
1. Work with volunteer leader teams to bring Graceland culture to CHL campus
2. Partner with Campus Team to bring aesthetics, feel, and culture to the look of the campus (i.e. setup, teardown, etc.)

Physical requirements:
Must be physically able to complete the duties of the position. Possess visual acuity, manual dexterity, ability to hear, stand, walk, sit, bend, lift and carry between 10-20 pounds.
